Ertugrul Ghazi was a famous warrior who contributed to the cause of Islam. He was the son of Suleyman Shah and the father of Osman I, the founder of the great Ottoman Empire. Historical accounts indicate that Ertugrul did exist, as he is buried in Sogut. His tomb is of the main tourist attractions in present-day Turkey.
